Dog grooming on the Gold Coast, with extra bubbles
Fluff & Fetch is a small, cheerful pet spa for dogs and cats. We wash, brush, clip and fluff at a calm pace, run a playful doggy daycare next door and keep cosy suites for overnight stays.
Every groom starts with a chat about your pet: their coat, their nerves, the bits they hate having touched. Then we take our time, because a relaxed dog gets a better haircut.

How a groom day works
- 1Drop-off and a sniff
Arrive between 8 and 11am. We go through your notes, any sore spots and the look you want.
- 2Brush-out and bath
Tangles out first, then a warm hydrobath with a shampoo that suits their skin.
- 3Dry, clip and fluff
A low-noise dryer, then the clip or scissor style you asked for, finished with a spritz.
- 4A text when they're ready
We send a photo and a pick-up time. Most dogs are home by mid-afternoon.
From muddy to marvellous
Taco came in sandy and salty after a morning at the creek and went home shiny after a Splash & Tidy. More transformations, from tangled oodles to a husky in full shed, are in the gallery.
What owners tell us
Sample reviews“Our groodle came home soft, smelling like a lolly shop and wearing a bow he was very proud of.”
“The cat mornings suit our nervous Ragdoll. A quiet room, no rush, and a photo halfway through so I could stop worrying.”
Quick answers
How often should my dog be groomed?
Curly and long coats need a full groom every 4 to 6 weeks, with brushing at home in between. Smooth and double coats do well with a bath and deshed every 6 to 8 weeks, more often in a humid Gold Coast summer.
What if my dog is matted?
We brush out what we can kindly. If matts sit tight against the skin, we clip short and let the coat grow back. It is far gentler than an hour of pulling.
Do you need vaccination records?
Yes. Dogs need C3 for grooming and C5 (with kennel cough) for daycare and boarding. Cats need F3. Bring the certificate on your first visit.
